Abstract: The notion of sparsehypergraphs was introduced by Brown, Erd\H{o}s and S\’os in the 1970s. Sincethen, it has received considerable attention and has been repeatedly studied byvarious combinatorists. In this talk, I will survey important problems andresults in this field, and introduce our recent work.

上官冲，山东大学数学与交叉科学研究中心教授，博士生导师。从事组合数学与信息科学交叉领域的研究，已在相关方向的知名刊物JCTB、JCTA、STOC、IEEE-TIT、SIDMA上发表论文十余篇。
